Hospice Rooftop Garden

Upon arrival, you immediately sense the difference at Sparrow Hospice House of Michigan; it doesn't look or feel like a hospital. It's filled with open space and each private room is recessed with its own individual address; just like a real home. Lanterns resembling streetlights are mounted on the walls, and the rooms feature oak doors and furniture, not hospital equipment. Before the Hospice Rooftop Garden, if residents wanted fresh air, they had a difficult journey to the main door, and even then, had the opportunity to view the sidewalk or the parking lot. Caroline's Rooftop Garden at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan has changed all that. The rooftop garden is a beautiful serene space that residents can easily access to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in a safe and peaceful environment.
