Current funding priorities include:

Challenge Response Fund designated to help Sparrow care for our community during particularly challenging times, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic.  The costs that Sparrow has already incurred, above and beyond our ‘normal’ spend, are substantial and increasing daily. This includes additional protective equipment for our caregivers, ventilators and other equipment to help manage the medical needs of those coming to us, the supplies it takes to effectively screen, test, and more.

Care for the Caregiver’s Fund designated specifically to help Sparrow Caregivers in times of crisis. When a Caregiver loses income due to a health issue, accident, house fire, or other unforeseen tragedy, they can apply to the Care for the Caregivers Fund for monetary support and assistance.

The Sparrow Mobile Health Clinic represents collective efforts by a team including Ingham County Health Department, Sparrow, and Dean Transportation. With this mobile facility, healthcare is delivered directly to underserved communities throughout The mid-Michigan region. Sparrow Hospice Services provides compassionate in-home hospice care as well as in-patient care at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan located at the Sparrow St. Lawrence campus. A non-profit hospice agency, Hospice House of Mid-Michigan is committed to providing care to everyone regardless of their level of their insurance or their ability to pay.

The Deborah L. and Michael G. Harrison Mammography Endowment was founded by the courage of one local woman after a personal cancer journey inspired her to do something incredible for the women in our community. The endowment ensures permanent funding for breast cancer education and quality imaging care for all women of mid-Michigan.

The Sparrow Children's Center, a Children's Miracle Network: Thanks to the collaboration between Sparrow and Children's Miracle Network, our local children are guaranteed the best possible care right here: where we live and play together.
